WHat You May Not KNow
Here is a little more detail for you. Connection Groups are like family Sunday School classes. Awesome people sharing prayer requests, learning God's Word, and celebrating all that He has done for us. We have a bunch of different groups to choose from so come and check it out before the service.
What does a Ground Breaking Service look like? Great question. This service will be a little longer than most and it is a family service meaning -we will have nursery/toddler care, but kids are encouraged and welcome in this celebration. In fact, I hear the kids choir JPG's will also be performing as well as the adult choir, and worship bands. Get ready to get your praise on because we want o give God the glory for all that He is doing in us and through us. We will recognize dignitaries and government officials, hear how God is using us to love and serve our community and I am told there will be a few surprises along the way. Even with all this activity you we will not be late for lunch.
Speaking of lunch, you do not want to miss this. The grape vine reports the BBQ will be seasoned and prepped on Friday then smoked for 16 hours on Saturday into Sunday in preparation for us to enjoy. If you have not experienced the BBQ of our very own Billy and Eric you are in for a treat!
Now that you have worshipped, learned, and been fed it is time to head to our new building site for the ground breaking ceremony. Photo ops and imaginations will run wild as we see what has been started and dream of what God will do in 12 short months. It has taken us almost 20 years to get to this point and we are ready! So come, take pictures, and take a moment to pray with your families that we can reach our neighbors for Christ by Loving, Serving, and Discipling.
